Gaim crashes when retreiving gadu-gadu buddy list

Bug Description

gaim crashed when i was trying download buddy list from server.
i used gadu-gadu protocol.

system: ubuntu 6.10,
gaim version: 2.0.0beta 3.1

there was the same situation with contacts in file and
i found the reason. -> File with contacts created in 'gadu-gadu' contains a header with version of 'gadu-gadu'. i was able to import list when i deleted that line.

Thanks for the bug report, could I get you to note the version & flavour (Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Xubuntu etc..) of Ubuntu that you are using, also which version of Gaim please?

Also could you please upload the copy of the crash report if you have it? Or if you do not could you possibly try to obtain a backtrace? Instructions on how to do this can be found here:
    http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash.
This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.
