katapult 0.3.1.4-0ubuntu2~edgy1 doesnt like config file from previous version

Bug Description

I'm under kubuntu edgy (i386), and katapult 0.3.1.4-0ubuntu2~edgy1 does not work after upgrade from the previous version , i.e :
- the Alt-space combo doesnt make the katapult window to show up
- clicking to "Configure katapult" leads to a crash

One has to remove the previous config file to make it work again.

I have not been able to get katapult to work at all since updating.

I have deleted katapultrc and purged the old install and reinstalled with no joy.

Running katapult from a terminal gives the following message:

X Error: BadDevice, invalid or uninitialized input device 169
  Major opcode: 147
  Minor opcode: 3
  Resource id: 0x0
Failed to open device

I had the same problem.
Katapult did not pop up when pressing its keyboard shortcut any more.
I have attached the config from $HOME/.kde/share/config/katapultrc which caused this.

Another Problem is that ctrl-c for opening the configuration
dialog is extremely hard to find and there is no other possibility
to get there when katapult is not configured to show up in system tray.

We are no longer shipping katapult with krunner since katapult has not been ported to KDE4. (We're using KRunner instead) So markign this as won't fix on our part.
