Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

Ubuntu 6.06.1, i386

I think that package for flashplugin-nonfree is not configured correctly. Please, check following log file created during package upgrade. Some error in perl script is indicated

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, you are not using the most recent version of this package for your Ubuntu release. Please upgrade to the most recent version and let us know if you are still having this issue.

Ubuntu 6.06.1 is LTS, I think this report should be solved for 6.06.1 too.

Ubuntu 7.04, 386. Still some problem:

psi, you're right, it should be fixed for 6.06 too. But I noticed you were using 9.0.21.78.2ubuntu1~dapper1 which no longer is the newest version for 6.06. Is it still the same problem in 6.06?

6.06.1 and 7.04 has the same problem now. checksum doesn't match. Like flash plugin at Macromedia was updated to the newer version but checksum in Ubuntu package was not updated.

Thanks, I'll close this bug then, since the original Perl (and X error) problem has been fixed. Bug #125986 deals with the checksum problem, which can be fixed for 6.06 with a backport.
