Binary package hint: mplayer

In Natty beta1, the mplayer package from the repos lacks some ac3 decoding features on some files :

Here is what it says :

on a standard natty, I've forced reinstall of mplayer ...
the sound works on gstreamer

and for the bug exposure : I just can't play any hd movies on ubuntu : gstreamer lags ( lack of vdpau ) , and mplayer is mute (this bug) most of my HD movies are in h264/AC3

Same here, can send AC3 passthrough in Natty mplayer
