Alan Pope suggested reporting this feature request as a bug, so here ist goes again.

This actually ist more a feature than support request. Please build pcsc-lite with the configure option "--enable-extendedapdu" in debian/rules. It is required for some RFID readers on the market, for example the popular CardMan series from OmniKey, which comes with a PCSC plugin.

Since pcsc-lite 1.3.2 (11 August 2006) the --enable-extendedapdu has been removed and extended APDU support in included.
