xchat-gnome crashes when pasting text with mid button in search tool

Bug Description

Binary package hint: xchat-gnome

 Steps to reproduce:
  1)Start "xchat-gnome".
  2)Connect to a server.
  3)Press "Ctrl+F" to show the find text utility.
  4)Select a word from the server window display.
  5)Paste it with the middle mouse button in the find text tool.
  6)Left click it the server window.

 Every time I follow this procedure, "xchat-gnome" crashes.

 I use Ubuntu 6.10. Thanks for your time and work.

Thanks for your bug report.

I can't reproduce this crash neither with 0.15 (Feisty) or HEAD version.
As we recently do some work in xtext (where this crash occurs) i'd say this crash is fixed.
Could you test with a more recent version please ?

 Hello again. I tried to repeat the crash in Feisty 0.15, using the live CD feature. I haven't been able to make it happen.

 So it seems to me that, as you say, this issue has already been resolved.
