Bug Description

After recent upgrades on Feisty, my machine won't boot with 2.6.19 kernels.

I don't use RAID, but as of today, my boot process hangs on "Assembling MD Arrays...". Booting with a 2.6.17 kernel works (thankfully, I didn't clean up the old kernels).

Interestingly, after booting with 2.6.17 (which works just fine), I can boot on 2.6.19, but just once. Successive attempts result in the same hangup as described above, until I boot 2.6.17.

Feisty now uses 2.6.20, and I haven't seen the problem in a long time.
