ubuntu-source 2.6.20 does not boot on 64-bit

Bug Description

Just did synaptic update. Downloaded and installed new 2.6.20-02-generic on my Acer Ferrari 64-bit.
Re-booted.

Error message various:

15.079xxxx failed (With numbers instead of x's)
10.xxxxxxx failed

Login screen frozen. No cursor movement, no active keys.

try to blacklist bcm43xx if you have it installed

add line: blacklist bcm43xx

to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist

and reboot

Jani,
I did as you said and blacklisted bcm43xx. That was the problem. Now it boots fine.
However, now I have no internet connectivity.
Unless someone wants me to send any error logs or do any testing, I am going to try re-installing from a new Feisty disk tomorrow a.m., and see what that gives me.
