Bug Description
Binary package hint: linux-image-
Because I was having problems with my synaptics touchpad on X lately --it doesn't work at all--, I did some researching on my system and I tried this command:
root@astrid:
FATAL: Could not open '/lib/modules/
So I decided to reinstall the linux-image-
E: /var/cache/
(translated into English with my own words:
E: /var/cache/
)
After that, I get another window with the following message:
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
I did that, but anything changed my previous problem.
If you need more information, don't hesitate to let me know.
TIA.
Have you tried purging that kernel first using aptitude purge (or dpkg -P) then installing it back? 2.6.17- 10-generic 2.6.17- 10-generic
try:
sudo aptitude purge linux-image-
sudo aptitude install linux-image-
