Bug Description

doc-linux-html (2006.04-1) on Edgy.

This package is messy and inconsistent. Some of the documents are in /HOWTO with numbered pages, some are one page in /HOWTO and the rest in a separate directory, and some are entirely in a separate directory.

These documents should be consistent.

I can confirm this on edgy. If the maintainers don't mind, some time over the holidays, I could spend an afternoon organizing and ordering them, and make a pretty index page with links to all the HOWTO's as well.

After 3-4 hours of work, and half of a patch, I realized that my work would be unmaintainable, since it is simply downloaded from TLDP every month. Please contact upstream at http://www.tldp.org/mailinfo.html .
