Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-volume-manager

Hello

I just tried Nytech DS-5200 on Ubuntu Edgy Eft, but I got a different situation than with my Canon. My pictures aren't copied/moved to a directory, instead, my pictures are shown on my mounted camera (/media/usbdisk/DCIM/100DICAM). I think this is a bug, because Ubuntu knows there's a camera plugged in, but still it doesn't do the same steps as with the Canon.

Screenshots might give a more clear view on what I mean:
*Canon*:
1) http://users.telenet.be/cobnet/Werkmap/foto1.png (=Nytech)
2) http://users.telenet.be/cobnet/Werkmap/canon2.png
3) http://users.telenet.be/cobnet/Werkmap/canon3.png

*Nytech*:
1) http://users.telenet.be/cobnet/Werkmap/foto1.png (= Canon)
2) http://users.telenet.be/cobnet/Werkmap/nytech2.png
3) Manually import pictures though File > Import :(

I first thought this was a "bug" of libgphoto2, that's why I filed it there: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=358874&aid=1612025&group_id=8874 (if you want, you can also find dmesg-information and /proc/bus/usb/devices-information overthere).

I also asked our local linux newsgroup: http://groups.google.be/group/be.comp.os.linux/browse_thread/thread/bb04ffd7be8855c4/4128a3c84ad715a0

Alhough I think this isn't a severe bug at all, I thing it might make it more user friendly if the same situation as with the Canon can be provided.

Greetings

One of your camera uses MTP the other one acts as a mass storage. This is not a bug.
