Bug Description
Binary package hint: hw-detect
(20070111, i386 alternate installer)
hw-detect seems to stall for long periods of time (minutes). A ps ax shows that udev is busy running modprobe i82365, which the kernel complains about not finding.
The machine is a desktop amd64 system with no PCMCIA hardware.
