Files & Folders don't show after searching twice with the same query

Bug Description

save a file "~/bug.txt" in gedit
open the dash
search for "bug"
the results include your file
close the dash
open the dash
search for "bug" again

Expected:
the results include your file

Actual:
the results do not include your file
if you have matching applications, they will still show

This does not occur if you directly invoke Files & Folders.

Relevant package versions:

$ dpkg -l "unity*"

Also, I tried this on a natty LiveCD and had the same problem, even after updating unity to 3.8.16-0ubuntu1-natty1 and setsid unity.

Have the same problem!!!
Even now its quite bad. I must say, somehow, it became better but it is still bad.

For example, if I have a file named "Ubuntu1", the first time I search with "Ubuntu", I get it. But not the second time. I either have to type in "Ubunt" or "Ubuntu1" or so. Quite annoying!!!
