Same crash here, when i tried to d'n'd one tab out of a combined window with 2 tabs.

If there is need, i can attach my crash report, otherwise i won't spam the comments.

I only had Google Chrome - Latest Stable open and I attempted to open the chat window (not the contacts menu) from the applications menu on the Ubuntu 12.04 beta.

If it helps, I am also getting quite a bit of graphical lag accompanying the crash when it happens to the extent that other apps freeze until the application crashes.
