Seems to build fine in a current amd64 pbuilder as of 2011-09-22 23:00 UTC:

dpkg-deb: building package `labrea' in `../labrea_2.5-stable-3_amd64.deb'.
 dpkg-genchanges >../labrea_2.5-stable-3_amd64.changes
dpkg-genchanges: not including original source code in upload
 dpkg-source --after-build labrea-2.5-stable
dpkg-buildpackage: binary and diff upload (original source NOT included)

it succeeds to build if you have gcc-multilib installed. the headers are not yet fixed, see bug 824377.
