Bug Description

The default remote desktop application in Ubuntu 11.10 does not provide an option to set the resolution of the remote desktop. It defaults to 800x600 and cannot be changed, thus rendering the application unusable. A workaround is to use the remmina application instead.

same problem here.

In addition, there is one more problem.
I'm using a laptop where Ubuntu is running and another monitor connected to my laptop.

When I set the 'full-screen' option, the window size is going to be too big. (It seems it's going to be the resolution that includes both my laptop and another monitor. )

Looks like the default app in 12.04 is Remmina, which doesn't have this problem. If Ubuntu isn't going to use Vinagre as the default anymore then perhaps this issue should just changed to "Won't Fix" or "Fix Released" depending on your perspective....
