totem crashed while playing .mkv file

Bug Description

Binary package hint: totem

Playing .mkv movie with totem on ubuntu 6.10 & beryl. Sound was not working, an totem crashed after few minute.
First time it happens. never happened before with other movie file on another format (.avi,mpg & co.)

I can't confirm this symptom in 9.04. Please set the status to:
1) New if reproducible in a supported or development Ubuntu version, or
2) Invalid if you cannot reproduce it in a supported or development Ubuntu version.

If the symptom is reproducible (1), then please provide a test case (or link to one).
