Bug Description
I installed a Sonnet Technologies Tempo Trio card in a whitebox PC running Ubuntu Edgy server. It is a combo card (ATA133, USB 2.0, FW 400) with a Promise based IDE controller. At boot the kernel does a prob but fails to detect the drives connected. I've checked the power, cables, and drives by connecting them to the motherboard's IDE controllers: they all are checked to be in working order.
dmesg and lspci output.
