gtkpod started normal. Then i want to go into preferences for configure and crash happens.

Also -- it's not just preferences that has this problem. I find I can't really do anything in gtkpod without it crashing and disappearing...

Any chance this will get fixed in Precise? Between this and Rhythmbox not working with playlists, I'm totally dead in the water for using my iPod on Ubuntu. I can only imagine there must be a fair number of iPod users who prefer to run Ubuntu for their OS...

Any update? I have an iPod classic 120GB and it has always crashed whenever I try to add new tracks since 12.04.

Since Launchpad does not currently recognize Sourceforge bug tracker URLs (see Bug #1154939), I'll just note it here: an upstream bug report exists for this on sourceforge.net: https://sourceforge.net/p/gtkpod/bugs/316/

Also, this bug is not amd64 specifix, I'm getting it on an Intel machine, too.
