Bug Description

I was trying to provide further information regarding bug #929054, so I installed the LATAM (Latin American) layout, and tried to switch to it. When I did that, the keyboard switcher applet crashed. I then clicked on the crash notification icon and produced this report.

peter@compaq:~$ apt-show-versions xfce4-xkb-plugin
xfce4-xkb-plugin/precise uptodate 0.5.4.3-1

Note that I can still cycle through my 4 installed keyboards using the hotkey combo I had previously set up: double shift. I haven´t tried to reinstall the keyboard switcher applet.
