Bug Description

When switching to and from Unity to Gnome-Shell my desktop Icons like to change position. Usually the icons will switch up and right relative to where they were positioned before. Sometimes, the icons will even end up half way on and off the screen.

On that note, when the icons are set the align to desktop, I do not like the spacing that the icons are set to show as, and the icons only seem to lock horozontially and not vertically. Vertically the icons can be at any spacing.

As you can see, the icons shifted 30-40 pixels to the right from the original position after switching to Gnome-Shell. If I were to switch back and forth 3-4 times the icon would be completely off the screen.

No, it's a different issue

Well the other issue has to deal with Icons being offset because of the Unity Launcher positioning the effective screen space to the right 48 pixels. When going back to Gnome-Shell there is no longer this offset so all of the icons move over, and perhaps a glitch happens when logging back into Unity to where they shift to the right more than their relative starting points.
