Error starting ConVirt

The attachment "possible compat fix" of this bug report has been identified as being a patch in the form of a debdiff.    * The fix works indeed, but it just helps to unveil the next issue:

   * This can be "solved" by giving the root password in development.ini, but the next issue is awaiting:

sqlalchemy.exc.ProgrammingError: (ProgrammingError) (1146, "Table 'convirt.deployment' doesn't exist") 'SELECT deployment.deployment_id AS deployment_deployment_id, deployment.version AS deployment_version, deployment.max_sp AS deployment_max_sp, deployment.max_server AS deployment_max_server, deployment.max_vm AS deployment_max_vm, deployment.max_tg AS deployment_max_tg, deployment.max_template AS deployment_max_template, deployment.update_checked_date AS deployment_update_checked_date \nFROM deployment' ()

You need to run the setup_convirt again. (It might have failed the first time because of above mentioned error).

you are getting this, when you try on a fresh install as well.

If it's the debdiff that mvo posted, please just add a comment to that effect and re-subscribe sponsors.

The original issue (with the sqlalchemy.exceptions -> sqlalchemy.exc name change) was fixed in 20090531-2ubuntu1, which is available from Precise onward. The second issue (with the SQL query) should be in a separate bug if it's still a problem.
