dput warnings if there are spaces in path

Bug Description
I compiled a package inside my "~/Ubuntu One" folder, then try "dput " it (to mentors.
$ dput mentors gnome-ksnapshot
Checking signature on .changes
gpg: impossibile aprire "/home/
gpg: verify signatures failed: errore durante l'apertura del file
Error in finding signature verification status.
(...)
Apart from this, dput works. Files are transferred to the server anyway.
I don't know if this is dangerous or not. In doubt, I have modified one line of dput as in attachment.
