Any idea on what changed on the m68k build between the successful build
of 1.0.10-1 and the failure of 1.0.10-2? My initial assumption is a
build system change has caused this error.
Thanks,
Anand

Unfortunately I can't help you with this.
I even don't have a m68k machine myself, I only saw the build failure on
buildd.debian.org .

So the build failure was a transient buildd problem, and the bug can be
closed?
