Hedera 0.4 Released

Written for Hedera by James Tait on 2011-01-11

Version 0.4 of the Hedera extension for Thunderbird allowing contact synchronisation with CouchDB has been released. Hedera now supports Thunderbird 3.1 and has a statusbar icon so you can see that Hedera is loaded, an About dialog and a preferences dialog to allow you to toggle debug output to the Error Console at runtime.

This is still alpha-quality software under heavy development, so I strongly advise you to BACK UP YOUR CONTACTS before installing this extension (to quote Phil Newborough, it may go crunch-bang) or use it in a separate Thunderbird profile. Currently only Thunderbird 3 is supported.
