A colleague of mine has a full Altium license package. 15000EUR of stuff. But for non-highspeed circuits find kicad more efficient. Even if it has a warping mouse:D (OTOH it seems that to fully use Altium you need 3 monitors, reading their brochures XD)

You could propose the sensible thing to do, maybe someone will implement that. The 'obvious' alternative (simply disabling warping) greatly detract from usability, but can be put in the wishlist (heck, it's a checkbox and a configuration parameter, about 30 minutes of work if you're good with the form editor --- which I am not).

Flaming or not I agree that could be a problem for some people, but I simply don't have a better solution for now.

And, personally, I'd prefer work on some more useful features (i.e. pad and via handling and the new format)
