0.2 Released

Written for News Cycle by Nathan Willis on 2011-04-21

News Cycle version 0.2 is now available, on the Launchpad page as well as at glyphography.com/fonts. This release includes News Cycle Regular, which covers Unicode Latin character blocks, including support for Eastern European and many African languages. It is also hinted and kerned.

However, there are no doubt still bugs, particularly for the extended character sets. If you find a mistake in shape, metrics, diacritics or rendering, no matter how small, please file a bug report here in Launchpad, targeting the 0.2 series.

To propose support for an entirely new character or character set, please submit a wishlist bug against trunk -- that helps keep regressions and fixes separate from enhancements.

Thanks, and happy writing!
