SWAT is a web-based administration tool for Samba.

In Samba 3 SWAT is a simple daemon written in C that's distributed with the Samba source code. For Samba 4, SWAT is a separate project, implement as a Python WSGI application. It is being developed as part of this years' Summer of Code.
