Comment 18 for bug 1440111

I'm plagued with calendar event sounds due to bug #1533681. Obviously, that bug should be fixed on its own, however it got me thinking about event notifications. A couple of ideas from IRC to throw into the mix:

08:01 < jdstrand> davmor2: you are talking about the notifications indicator? yes, that would be nice because making it silent wouldn't prevent incoming call sounds.

If changing notifications indicator sounds, I wonder if would/should quiet incoming texts...
