The GNU assembler, linker and binary utilities targeted for the MSP430 architecture.

This package would be used to assemble, link and manipulate binary and object files that have been created for Texas Instruments MSP430 architecture. They may be used in conjunction with the compiler and various libraries to build programs for the MSP430 architecture.

This package is primarily for MSP430 developers and cross-compilers and is not needed by normal users or developers.

Notes: This package would be created by taking the binutils-2.19 upstream source from GNU and applying patches from the mspgcc project to create a Cross Compiling version of GNU binutils for the MSP430 architecture.
