Additional problem with all these auto complete smarts is aliases. I have `alias ll='ls -al`, but the auto complete doesn't understand aliases so I get the random extra space after the <tab> because it didn't realise it was an 'ls'. Maybe auto-complete needs to expand aliases before applying the autocomplete?
