Are there any updates on this bug for Ubuntu?

I just started seeing the same problem after upgrading to Ubuntu 12.04.

When running mount_afp afp://user:pass@server destination, it pauses for a few seconds and then gives the "Could not connect, never got a response to getstatus, Connection timed out" error.
