I experienced the same bug, Dell Zino, RS780 Azalia audio controller and no sound at all, with the last version of Ubuntu 11.04.
I have my Zino since one year and this bug is still unsolved... I tried several distribution (not only Ubuntu or Debian), is anyone have a /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf or sound.conf that works with the Zino?
