Was very excited to see this thread updated with instructions on how to install the latest drivers. Very disappointed to find it didn't work on my Ubuntu 11.04 installation, however. Has anyone else running 11.04 reported success?
This bug remains (for me) one of the two most annoying issues with my current Ubuntu installation. Hopefully a future update will find a way to resolve the problem.
