  * Merge from Debian unstable, remaining changes:
    - Respect DEB_HOST_GNU_TYPE when selecting CC for cross-compiling.
    - call start instead of invoke-rc.d from support scripts, since
      invoke-rc.d is noisy when calling an upstart job.
