I confirm there are some problems with Gutsy Gibbon as well (platform: i386). The boot time is VERY slow (two minutes), and it seems that this delay is mainly due to dhcdbd (roughly one minute). I would like however not remove NetworkManager, as I installed Ubuntu on my laptop and often switch between cable connection (eth0) and wireless connection (eth1, using the IPW2200 driver). Both eth0 and eth1 work, but this long delay is quite annoying...
