I have ati mobility radeon x1400 on dell with Ubuntu 8.04.

This bug is SO disappointing. Other than looking at powerpoints, all I do on my computer is watch movies. CRAPPY rendering without OpenGL was such a turn-off for me. I like everything else about Ubuntu, especially Compiz effects. Thus, I dont want to turn off compiz just so i would be able to watch a movie in a decent quality. That is not why i switched to linux. I switched for "better". better support, less bugs.

PLEASE SOLVE THIS .............ASAP. There are lots of ppl with radeon cards
