yes it's very silly. mozilla has its own javascript engine, and js engines have
*nothing* to do with this. this is entirely a dom issue. please leave this bug
alone. it is now unfortunately on a developer's plate along with many other
bugs. he'll drive it in when he can.
hopefully decent apis will be provided to embedders to supress and otherwise
annul this nonsense.
