@Martin : I'm not using the KDE4 packages. Just using the kdm-kde3 one as login manager.
So, the "truncate ERRFILE" part is present in /etc/X11/Xsession.
However, for what I understand, this script is only read once when users are opening their session.
There is no control of .xsession-errors' size _while_ the session is running.
