I Just want to point out that this could not be enough to have this file reset only upon session logout/in. The problems of this file becoming huge and filling up all the disk space could still occur for users who, for whatever reason, never log out. Think of theses users (like me) who rely on hibernate/suspend on their machine and, thus, are baisicaly always working in the same session. That being said, I don't know exactly what could be a satisfying solution: partial reset when the file reachs a size limit or on a time interval basis, keeping some of the latest data?
