I get this error too in Feisty when running graphical applications with gksudo:

rune@rune-desktop:~$ gksudo ghex2
(ghex2:7778): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager:
Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed.
