attached are tcpdumps with ipv6 disabled (tcpdump1.txt) and enabled and loaded (module) . Note these were taken with my hardy box ( ubuntu 8.04) since that was easier to do , it shows exactly the same symptoms with ipv6 enabled . hardy kernel is 2.6.24-22-generic . I can do tcpdumps with my jaunty box and kernel 2.6.28-4 later if you need them , just a a little more work .
