Comment 12 for bug 82504

Hallo,

thanks to your reproduction of the bug and some research i found a way to fix the problem:

just uncheck the following option with gconf-editor: /desktop/gnome/interface/enable_animations

The panel will disappear as normal, but you wont have the zoom animation anymore ; /
