Yes, this looks like an ubuntu specific bug. Richard, to be fair, this is a bug filed against the ubuntu package and as such you should expect there to be differences. I have been working on integrating 2.13.92 and I will try to ensure that all messages I add in the ubuntu package are marked with "UBUNTU DEBUG" or something.

I hadn't forwarded these suggestions upstream because we weren't sure they were right yet, indeed this bug indicates that at least one bit of our patches was wrong at least in part.

Please don't feel cheated or angry at us for trying to solve our users' specific use-cases before punting code upstream. If I sent you bugs for everything I tried, you'd be inundated.
