Daniel, half the patches in the ubuntu mega-patch are obvious fixes (like fixes for segfaults, or adding obvious functionality like the hibernate key) that I could have pushed upstream in about 25 seconds.

DanH, aplologies if this seemed like it was directed at you, it really wasn't. You provided me a great debug trace that would have otherwise solved the problem.
