Comment 6 for bug 172678

I have a similar problem with the integrated webcam on my laptop, it has the same chipset (it's a Vimicro Vc-0321), I dunno if boot slows down beacause of the webcam,'cause I can't remove it, but it's not particularly slow. The problem is the webcam isn't properly configured, I have the same dmesg output, but after the boot the webcam do not work. It is detected, but only a black screen appears on applications trying to use it, like cheese, amsn, ekiga, skype.. Should I open a new thread for this? I attach my files here..
