Comment 47 for bug 335297

I'm getting the same problem as Tim. I'm on a Dell Vostro 1710. The problem seems completely erratic right now because sometimes when I boot up I will have neither the keyboard nor the mouse, and sometimes I will have both. They become non-responsive instantly at the login window. I have tried to boot into the recovery console, but the keyboard seems to randomly freeze there as well by the time you choose root terminal, root terminal with networking, etc.
