Comment 57 for bug 335297

i have a dell vostro 1710 and have been experiencing the same lack of stabilty since upgrading .

i've been with ubuntu for several years and this is the worst release yet :( :( :(

There is clearly something going wrong with :
ACPI - power management is not making sense anymore and my battery is discharging faster than it used to
MOUSE and KEYBOARD - mostly fixed with the gotos grub params , still not as stable as it used to be
AUDIO - pulseaudio , it still sucks and is still not properly configured
DBUS - clearly getting random signals from ACPI and breaking
GDM - i can login using the latest ubuntu kernel

This is a serious regression.
