Comment 6 for bug 539057

The icon is there whenever I restart the system. When I go into ibus preferences, the "show icon on system tray" is unchecked. Checking it and unchecking it again removes it from system tray. But upon restarting, it is there again.

Note that for me, ibus loads not from the startup applications, but by selecting ibus as the "keyboard input method system" in Language Preferences.
