Attaching debdiff that solves the issue.
The patch doesn't change any source code, it only adds libxcomposite-dev, libxrender-dev, libxdamage-dev to debian/control.

It solves the problem here with no regressions.

(But please, if you add this PPA to your sources.list, only do so temporarily).
